Your Appointment

What to expect at your first appointment? Firstly, you will receive a warm welcome at Embody!

Try to arrive 10 minutes before your start time. You will be given a consultation form to fill in before you meet me. I need to know if you are taking medication or have a medical condition. If you do, I may need to adapt the treatment slightly or offer you a different one. In some instances I may recommend you speak to your GP first.

I will take you through to one of the lovely treatment rooms where we can discuss your consultation form, your reason for coming and your expectations. I will explain the treatment to you, let you know if any clothing needs to be removed and how to lie. While relaxing musics plays you can drift away and enjoy your treatment.

When your session is finished, you will be given aftercare advice and there will be time for feedback. I will let you know if further sessions would benefit you or I may advise a different one for next time.

Finally, you will leave the clinic feeling wonderful!

Please note that Embody do not hold any client details. Consultation forms are the property of the individual therapists. Therefore you are required to complete a form for each therapist you see. This is in line with our insurance policies and codes of professional conduct.
